I can't get the colors of the hat right on this camera. The colors are so much more vibrant in person. I really have to read up on this camera to get better quality pictures. Or it may be the lighting in this house!

Baby blanket.

Got really far on the baby blanket for my friend danielle at work. she is due in may so I should be done by then. It's very quick knitting.

So I felt a little better this morning

Just enough to go to grannys, and spend not too much $. Got a lot for my buck. I got some Plymouth Geisha In pink and blue to make an awesome baby blanket with a heart in the middle of it. And some free patterns in the free pattern bin. Also some trekking that everyone is going crazy over. I might cast on for some socks tonight. Totally against my wishes to start another project. Also got some buttons, and also 10 balls of vento that I was eyeing the last time I was there and granny gave them to me for 1 buck each that's also going to be a baby blanket. And I got a clear Chibi with gold needles. And every thing was a percentage off. I was so happy going home.

So as I was heading home I knew I had some laundry to do, so I did. So that I didn't have to do it tomorrow, instead I can stay home and knit and get some projects done. Came home afterwards and sat down and casted on for one of the baby blankets. Im so done I don't think it was a great idea to shower and run out, I was sweating all day I felt like I had a fever still but I had to get out and get the laundry done oh and also get over to the grannys sale. Im good for now and very content.

My favorite yarn in the whole wide world. NoRo Kureyon. I want to make a hat with it with a little flower on top. I have it all set up in my mind, but I don't want to start another project yet. Please knitting gods don't let me do it. Don't let me start another project.

Sick Again

Im friggin sick again. But this time its the flu. So for those of you who were wondering where I was last night. I came home from work at 3 with a 100.7 fever and I passed out on the couch. I was so tempted to come to SnB last night but I couldn't get off the couch. And Im still on the couch this morning. I've done lots of knitting in between taking tylenol and blowing my nose every two seconds. Im working on the cable sweater from vintage knits. I started on the front now and Im almost done with the sleeves. I cant wait to finish. I know I keep saying that, But it takes a while to knit on smaller needles. I was very tempted to get out and swing by grannys today to catch her sale but I sill have the chills. And if I did go, I want to go there with a pattern in mind, but then I was convincing myself that I don't need any yarn and to make due with what I have. I have to figure it out. I come to terms with myself that I have a yarn buying problem and I have no self control. Ahhhhh! Any way this was just a quick post wanted to let everyone know where I was and how im suffering with this Friggin flu, I hate being sick. The only thing good about being sick is you get to stay home and knit your ass off.

Just a little update on the neck warmer. I think I finally got it. All it is is time and effort, and a lot of help from my knitting friends. Like Dani and Efrat. Thanks guys for all the help. Im almost done.

Quick post

What a crazy day at work, Or shall I say 2 hours at work. The power went out and he was in the middle of a root canal, Which the first thing in my head was yea!! I get to go home. But at first he was trying to see if he can fix it, looking nerdly at the fuse box "hehehehe!" Any way turns out that a transformer blew and lipa was coming around to it soon and that he was on the waiting list. So I went home yeeeaaaaa! I was happy, I get some knitting time in the middle of the day which is unusal theses days.

So I ran to the store to pick up some ingredients for a nice pot of chili. And Now im posting. wooo hoooo!!!!

Knitting: I am still working on the entrelac squares neck warmer thing. I was stumped for a little while but got right back on the horse. but again I screwed up. I have to re-evaluate. I did recently get the rowans treasury of knits, it's ok there are some things I would like to make in it, so im gonna try to make it with some of my stash, I have to use some of it. and I came to the conclusion that I am not buying any more yarn I have enough, I just cant do it, I really have to try to use up some of it or at least make a dent in it some how.

I really dont have much to report, Although I have been reading the book that stephanie my Last SP gave me, It is such a great book about knitting stories and all that good stuff, And I didn't even realize that she wrote inside of it. It was such a nice message that I will forever keep that book. I didnt even think to write in her book I gave to her. Im sorry stephanie!!

Entrlac squares "Ahhhhhh!"

It's Driving me crazy. As im going along it looks worng but im not sure. I am totally retarted when it comes to these instructions. I don't know whats wrong with me. But the colors are awesome. The yarn im using is Magallanes From KFI in color number 302.

Vintage cable sweater

I started this a while ago. it is the sarah dallas vintage knits. I just pulled it down from the attic last week and been working on it ever since. I love doing Cables It's very cool. I finished the back and Im almost done with the sleeves and then of corse the front. I can't wait to finish, Im also going to throw it in a pot of dye im thinking a nice light lavender, That will be a nice color, kind of like the book.

Just cruising along with this one, it is a lot of fun to do. I have to see how this comes out before I start another one. I can't wait till i am done with this.

Alright, This was our last gift which was in December. And She was a really great pal so who ever gets her next time around is lucky. And she has a gret stash.

But I have to admit I was talking about her last night not bad but I just couldn't understand why I didn't recieve the package or maybe it got lost in the mail or someone took it off my porch because we Dont get home till very late from work most days. And Now I feel really bad, the past few days would go by and when I get home from work and there was no SP gift in the mail box, I would get so upset. But I feel really bad now because it was sitting in the post office for about a week and I didn't get a notice saying I needed to pick it up before a certain time or else it will be sent back to the sender. Any way Stephanie emailed me and told me to pick it up in the post office and I did today and this is what I got. And the best yet I wanted for the longest time was socks soar on two circular needles. I have to tackle another pair of socks soon, what a great book. and she also gave me 4 sock paterns, cool socks warm feet book. cascade 220 in fushia, some cherry tree hill in great pinks and purples. Awesome !!!! And a great knitting therapy book that i will read in between rows of knitting. Some Burt bees cuticle kit which was so cute I was putting some wax on marks nails while we were driving to the jewerly store to size my wedding band after we picked up the package it was so funny. Thank you so much Stephanie, The best gift ever you went overboard Thank you sooooooo much.... I wont forget you .....
