It's Friday. This is my all time title for Fridays

I am so excited for tonight, Mark is playing Jones Beach, doesn't that sound cool. I wish it was the theater but it's not. It's in field four, on the beach, I can't wait. I have to take pictures, I have my video camera ready to go.
So on the knitting front, Not really much to report. I am still working on moms skirt, I've been so side tracked with the beading thing, It's very addicting. But I have so many projects in mind and lined up for knitting. I really have to concentrate on the skirt that my goal.
And Ta Da!!!! I received my package from Jennifer. I love them all. Your crazy involved with the stich marker thing, I was the same way when I started. and next your going to get into making jewerly. Thank you so much Jenn, When you get your package let me know, I'll just peek at your blog and find out.
All in all Im so glad I have these hobbies to keep me busy, I love them all and will never give them up.

My new patio set !

you have no Idea how excited I was when my mom said to take the set. We really don't have nice furniture for the back yard. This really completed it. Thanks Mom and Dad

It's been a few days !!!!!

I know I know. I have been so busy doing crap around the house this weekend went so fast. On Sunday I went down to my moms house to grab some of my stuff in my old room, I was taking a little at a time through the months, but now that they are moving I needed to go through everything and throw everything I didn't need out! There was so much stuff I accumulated over 6 years wow!
My mom and dad also gave us the patio set, I love it, I was out there this afternoon sitting in the cozy shade the was a little breeze, not much, I would have sat earlier but it was way too hot.
So on the way home from the Bronx Mark and I were talking about our new/ old stuff and how great it was gonna be when we have our next back yard party, I can't wait.
So mom liked the skirt but I have to make it a little longer which is easy, I'll just pick up on the end.
I kind of stalled on the knitting for a few days, I've been beading just making bracelets for the summer I made quite a lot, I gave them away as gifts. And every one loved them, I made an all silver one which really rocks. I love it. Im a silver girl.But i have to find a web site for cheaper beads, I will have to search later Im so tired my mother inlaw went away and were watching the cats and plants this week until Thursday. Not too bad the sprinklers are on so it's not that much to water. She has a garden a big garden, too much work for me I wouldn't have one that big. I can barely keep up with the little pots that I have out side. Especially on these hot days.
But any way gotta fly, Im hot and sticky and I need to take a shower and cool off.

Hey All .... What a great weekend, Great weather. And no humidity. Untill today. Yuck! Went to marks friends house in sound beach, What a great area, about half way through the party we took a walk to the beach which was walking distance and I couldn't believe my eyes there were these houses that blew me away! WOW! Some day I will have that, Maybe In my next life. It was Beautiful.
So when we got to the party I went straight for the punch and I spiked it myself, with coconut rum yummy! I have to make that for our next party. It was made with pina colada mix pineapple juice and red grapefruit Juice, I never tasted any punch like it ever. And that was my 4th of July.
On the knitting front, I've been working very hard on my moms skirt I have a picture, and I was looking on line today for extra yarn just in case and I found the same yarn in the yarn market site and it was 10 dollars cheaper. What ever but I figure out after the shipping it would of only been 5 dollars cheaper.
I also found another tank top I haven't finished putting together and It was just like the other top I made that I posted, But the back of it is white, I'll post it too.
And that about it. Another party to goto this weekend, and then down to my moms for some of my stuff that I left there and my bedroom set and some other stuff.

Just waiting for the big party !!!

Not much going on at the moment. Just waiting for tomorrow to party, Don't know why tomorrow, tonight's the the night to get crazy. I have to work on Tuesday and I can't really drink all night long. But whatever.
So Got up in the middle of the night with allergies, it woke me up @ 3AM I was so tired fell asleep on the couch and woke up at like 6AM and went back in the bed. They come out of no where, I will be fine for a week and the BANG! im dyeing. so my friend Carol came over this morning,we had coffee and caught up on things. Had a few laughs and the she went off to Mahopac NY, that's where she lives. She was out at her cousins in the Hamptons for the weekend and she always swings by on her way home. Then Mark and I went for a bike ride and My legs were killing me that just goes to show you what kind of shape im in. Shhhhh!! Don't tell anyone. And here I am back in the house posting. And that was my day. Can't wait till tomorrow................

She has the best washing machine for felting. I just have to add the straps and Im done, it just has to dry. I didn't spend too much time on it.

I made it with the Patons wool. I Love the way this wool felts. and Its not expensive.

So I didn't get really far on moms skirt this week because of work. But Im getting on it this weekend, starting today. I will have a lot of it done by the end of this weekend.
I got a package today in the mail From handpaintedyarns.com Great colors. It didn't take long for my order to get here. Im not sure what project to do with them, But It's definitely going to be a felting project,

So I wound them all up and in the midst's of winding I got my hands on the hank that was laying on the coffee table that my secret pal sent to me and wound that up too, Im getting it ready for Clepotis, I've been studying it for the past few days just to get a head start, it's seems a little tricky when you first read the pattern, but once you read it a few times it makes more sense.
Im getting my hair cut tomorrow. I can't wait, I need it so bad and Im taking out the purple soon. But not tomorrow there was no time for the girl that does my color, Im happy, I think im gonna make her cut it very choppy.
And on Monday we are going to marks friends house for the 4th, Pat's back yard party, I can't wait. I going to be very relaxed because I don't have to do anything.

But that's really it, not much to report.

Dreaming John Lennon.

Alright Last night I had a dream about John Lennon. I met him in the city by his house and he invited me up and he was so cool he gave me a tee shirt that he wore it said peace on it, the dream blew me away when I got up I was depressed because it wasn't true, I probably had the dream because I watched Imagine on one of the HBO channels.
So Just a quick post. I have to get ready to goto work. I wish I can work from home like my friend Dani!! But I can't maybe some day.
I finally finished my tank top I love it, And it fits perfectly. Wow. And the colors are perfect. I was working on my moms skirt which drove crazy, the pattern that I was using, It did not make any sense, So I switched to a similar pattern and I will just add the fringe to it like the other pattern I have posted. That's the only bad thing about translated patterns, the person that is translating spaish to English screws up all the time, almost every pattern that I used out of this book has an error and I can't find any correction for it on line any where. But im doing fine with this one. It's coming out nice i will take a picture of it when I get a chance after work.
So off to work I go...

I got a Package Today! Guess from who!!!!!

My secret pal. I took a peek out side to see if the mail was there and there was a box on the stoop. I wasn't sure who it was from, it through me off because of the return address. I thought my pal lived in Georgia? At first I was scared to open it. Just kidding. But when I did OMG!!! There was so many cool things in it. Amazing Yarn from Interlacements Yarn In these great Reddish Pink Purplie colors. A blank card with a hank of yarn on the front. Really cute fabric with lipstick and hats in pink colors, Great pink pencils that say " The surgeon general has determined that knitting may be habit -forming" Very cute I love them. The clover yarn cutter pendant, That I just bought for my secret pal for the next package. Knitters review note cards with envelopes , Lavender Dryer bags, I want my pal to know that I love lavender, I use the johnson lavender night time lotion when I come out of the shower every time. It smells so good, Also these little I don't know what to call them I would say Sequins I know exactly what to do with them, I might string them on and knit them in to my next bag. And last but not least these little pages with a cat and a ball of yarn on them, Im not sure what they are for But i really love them, I love any thing with a cat on it. I have to say you went over board, Every thing is so wonderful, I have to thank you a million times.

I got the gauge with the yarn doubled, the skirt doesn't call for much,So I will have enough to make for the matching shrug.

"It's Friday" Big deal I have to work tomorrow.

This Saturday Crap Has to stop, I have been working the weekends and late nights for way too long. I have to add that this is the last Saturday for the summer. I haven't casted on for the skirt yet I just got home from work and that was my first priority I can't wait. Sunday Mark and I are going to the city just to walk around maybe hit a yarn store just to look around. We'll see. I really don't need anything. I can't wait.
Mark is running the Lake Run tomorrow I'm usually always there to cheer him on, But I have to work. Bla.!!!But It's gonna be a hot one tomorrow, So im kinda glad I wont be out there sweating. I feel bad for Mark he's gonna be running in that YUCK! But they treat them really good in the end, they have fruit any kind of soda juice and BEER! That's funny I thought the same thing when I first went. But it's cool and fun I love watch all the old guys trying to make it to the finish line but you have to give them credit they make it through I probably would drop dead the first mile in that hot weather. So on that note talk soon when I get progress with the skirt.

All I have to say is FLYING FINGERS!!!

Ok Well as you know from the title, I got up early today and headed to my moms house in the Bronx, Ill called her as soon as I was crossing over the Whitestone Bridge, and she was up waiting for me, Mind you I called her last night and asked her if she wanted to take a ride to flying fingers with me in the morning. Plus I had to see my dad because I didn't see him for fathers day because him and my momo went to the NJ shore for the weekend. So I get there and I talked to my dad and mom for a little bit and then we were off. It was really good to see elise the owner of Flying Fingers. When I used to work in Dobbs Ferry I always went there for lunch and always walked out with something. So as soon as we walked in my mom was like oh my god, she saw Yarn from Cherry Tree Hill Light pastel colors, variegated It was 1440 Yards and it was Beautiful, I don't even want to tell you the price of it, But I convinced her to buy it and promised that I would make her a skirt that I have a pattern for and a tie shrug to match, So as soon as I got home I wound it up and started swatching. I love it I can't wait to start, But there's only one thing "Mom the skirt didn't come to a V It was the fringe that made it look like that" So you have to tell me what you would like me to do? I have pictures of everything to post when im done. Oh and mom treated me to 2 lambs pride. Orange and white, and a pattern book, I was happy.
Then after we left the Yarn store we went to eat across the street from my old job and I called my friend carol and she met us for lunch. and that was my day. I had fun. That's all I have to say.
But the yarn is a joy to work with all the colors that just come out while you knit it

Happy Birthday Dad!!!

I could of sworn I posted this weekend. I really remember typing, Maybe it got lost.
So today is my dads Birthday!!! I think 54, I never can remember because when you ask him how old he always tells you 2 years younger.
So this is the end of my almost 2 week long vacation. But im ready to go back, I need to get back into the swing of things. Although I don't feel like dealing with my boss. Who does!
On the knitting front: Im almost done with the Katia Tank top, All I have to do is finish the straps and sew it together "yea" I can't wait to wear it. And I have a confession to make. Are you ready? I ordered more From handpaintedyarns.com, I know Im a bad girl, But if you goto the site you'll see, it's like an impulse you can't surf any further till you order from them. Every hank of yarn looks so beautiful you can't resist. So kill me I don't care. Here we go with my mom and dads motto. " you only live once" and there you have it, that my friends is the reason why I have a stash and I have no idea what the hell to do with it. Although I have been really good with picking up my UFK ( unfinished knits) and finishing them, and im very proud of that.
No more yarn buying for me.

A long week off and im enjoying every second of it.!!

A perfect week, it was a long one but it's going fast. I did nothing today just watched a few movies and then hopped in the shower and fixed my hair since it's been so humid the past week I couldn't blow it outand waste my time, because it would frizz up.
I did go and see my mom and dad yesterday in the Bronx. I got there @ 11:30 and I left @ 9 last night, it was fun My aunt was there and we had a lot of laughs and we eat sausage and peppers for lunch and then for dinner macaroni and meatballs and a salad, and for dessert was coffee and cheese cake. I was so full I couldn't eat another thing. We sat outside and of course I knitted and talked. But the only thing I still can't get over is when I leave their house I feel like im leaving them behind, It sucks because I get so emotional and I cry all the way home. And that's a long cry, 1 Hour to be exact. But I get over it, when I come home to Mark.
On the knitting front, Im almost done with the Katia Pattern Tank top. It's two colors the back it like a lighter green and the front is Olive, Im Half way done with the front. And it's coming out great I can't wait to put it together. And I did start the juliette square for Rebeccas little niece. Im just trying to figure out what stich I want to do it in so im just experimenting with it. Tonight is SnB Can't wait, I missed last week for nothing if you know what I mean. And that, that's all I have to report.

It's Good to be home.

Im Back!!!! Im so glad to be home. It's great to be away for a few days but when your on your way home there's nothing like it. We had a good time We visited Marks brother and wife and Baby Zoe. In N.C. Zoe is 8 months old already, Babies grow so fast. They have a beautiful house and so much land. It's in the out skirts of Charlotte. Mark said he can never move there, It's too country. Every where you go you have to drive like at least 20 mins. maybe 15, Mark said he needs to be able to just walk to the deli around the block for a cup of coffee and any thing else, Hey it's not for everyone.
But I did miss my cat "Stan"Very much He was a little freaked when we took him back to the house, He had to sniff every little corner to make sure it was safe. It seems like he is taking his time to get back to normal, he was on my lap before being cute and all and now im hairy. Thank god I made meatballs and sauce before.
But on the knitting front I came home to an awesome package from my friend Jennifer, I don't know her personally to call her my friend I haven't even met her, but she was my secret stich marker pal the last time around and she sent me more this time around, And she is so cool. I have to get a cd that I know she will like, he's my favorite artist "Butch Walker" and some other stuff I have to put in the package.
I did knit some socks on the way down and the way back up. I have to take a picture of that also, I knit them up with the knit picks sock yarn Dancing stripes. I love knit picks, I have to place an order soon even though I don't need any thing yet. Ive been polishing off my UfK's It's moving along, I just picked up a tank I started last summer with gedifra Wellness cotton that I just threw in the corner with the sweater I just finished And It was the picture I posted before I left.
I have all week off, My boss is on vacation, I just have to go in tonight. For like an hour to help the girl I work with move some things around so that the will paper people can do there thing tomorrow. And Im free to knit all week and sit by the pool at Mom Inlaws house.

I screwed up BIG TIME !

Ok I was supposed to be at work at 9:30 this morning. But I forgot he stuck a patient in on Friday for this Tuesday. And last night I forgot to put my phone on the charger and it went dead overnight. So when I got up @ 10 I picked up my phone and I charged it, I turned it on and there was like 3 messages. And it was him (my Boss) and the service messages and I was like holy shit im in trouble because there was a big laminate case that was going in and he needed an assistant. So I got in at like 12 noon, But he got over it. What ever!!!! So it was a long day and I just got home and I checked my blog and im so glad all of you liked the Sweater . I still have to add the button. It was the Hollywood Suss Cousins, Cardigan the one that Julian Moore was modeling. It was so easy to do, No problems what so ever. And the yarn was from gedifria. Not sure the name of the yarn but it was bulky. Next is a tank top. Not sure which pattern im going to do but I want to find a good one
This Wednesday Im leaving to North Carolina. We are driving down 12 hours. Were staying for like the weekend then coming home on Monday. So I have to check the LYS around N.C. I can't wait. You know im definitely coming home with something from N.C.
until I get home this will be the last post. Im going to miss my SnB But I will make up for it while im away.

And this was the finished product at 7:26 tonight. It seems a little tight not too bad, I should have blocked it before I put it together, I can strech it a little with a damp towel and an iron right? But now on those cool summer nights I have something I knitted to wrap around me. Woooohoooo! Now it's time to cast on for a wrap.  

This was at 1:30 this afternoon, I worked on this all day my back is killing me the was so many loose ends to tie in. Bla ! Now I know why everyone hates to put sweaters together. For now on in sticking to tanks. But this was really all worth it in the end.  

Straight into summer. Bla!

It's like 80 degrees here on long island, Im not complaining but it's humid, It sucks I hate it. But it is a beautiful day and Im debating to go to the beach. I know if I do then the phone is gonna ring and at the other end is gonna be my boss asking me if I can come in in the afternoon, I can never say no, But I just decided Im not going any where. Im staying home today, Or I might just take out my bike and wash it and go. I know I have so many thing on my to do list, Im all talk. (In the midst of my writing I went into the attic and took down the fan and cleaned the dust off of it and turned it on. Just to give you an idea of how humid it really is. I can't even concentrate) I think im just going to put together my cardigan that I finished last night and take a photo shot and post the picture. It really came out beautiful I can't wait to put it together.
Hello Jenn From portage IN. I saw your comment, very cool I can't wait. It's so great that someone thinks about you out of the clear blue.
Im going to North Carolina on Wednesday to visit Marks brother and wife. Just for a few days we are driving there so that's gonna be a hike but I love driving anywhere I love to see all the different states. But you know for sure I have to map out the knitting stores. I can't wait for that. But my sister Inlaw said that there is a nice knitting store no to far from her, I have to stop in. But what else, I know it's going to be very hot there, I was there in July last year and it was hot.
So im not going to be at SnB this weekend. Sorry guys not that it matters because no one showed up last week just 4 of us. I think it's slowing down now because of the summer time and everyone is going away? Not sure.
Im going to end here. Not sure what to cast on for next but my fingers have that nervous twitch in them.

Im so glad it's Friday. Thank God! I have a b-day party tomorrow and I have to get my hair redone again , My parents are coming out. A busy weekend but not as bad as last weekend. I have to run to work soon. I have to check to see if my secret pal received her gift before I go also. Just thinking of all the things I have to do today.

Last night there wasn't many of us at SnB. Just Sarah,Janet, Joyce and myself I left a little early and came home to a back yard full of boy's, mark had his friends over. I was so tired I sat by the fire for a little with them and then went in. But that's about all. Have to split. Off to work I go.

New project. I can't wait to finish. Im almost done with the sleeves. The gauge was perfect. I shouldn't say that yet till I put it together. But it's coming out really nice. 

Look Secret Pal, I hand felted my marsupial bag. I had so much fun stabbing that thing to death. 

What A crazy day and a crazy weekend PARTY!

Hey every one, Sorry I haven't kept up with the blogging thing, But I have to say I've been very busy. The party went well, I love to host but you never eat enough. But it was a lot of fun. Joyce, Beney and her friend came on by and it was great having some of my friends around, But I felt bad because I really didn't get to spend much time with them, But im glad they saw my house, Im sure they will tell everyone at SnB tomorrow night. But all in all it was fun and we were both popped by the end of the night. So I took care of the fine at the motor vehicles, I was fuming because when I went there today I didn't have my title to the car so I couldn't register it until I went back home to get it, Mind you I had no idea where I put it, So when I came home I tore the house apart, don't' ask me how I found it in a matter of 30 min. I ran back to the motor vehicles. Registered it and I was done, I needed a cocktail after so off to Taco Bell I went, hehehehe!
So I came home and I popped my Ipod in and Im blogging. I took pictures of my project to post, and I also hand felted my bag so my secret pal can see, Im saving the Cascade for a great felted hat for the winter. But im getting all the use out of the felting materials, I absolutely love them all.Thank you again. So I ripped out this sweater that I made out of Gedifra yarn that it came out huge, Never put it together, I knew it would be too big so I frogged it. And im almost done with the cardigan from Hollywood Suss Cousins the first one, all I have is the sleeves to do then im ready to sew. I love the patterns in her book. But so not worth 30 bucks. I finally put a wish list up in my profile. But I can't figure out how to show my picture up on my blog profile. I need help. I hate when I don't know how to do something that I know is so easy. I have to post a finished project sweater up there I feel like I never finish my sweater projects I just tell you about them and show you them half finished. So what else to report not that much more. I can't wait till Thursday night, I need a night to just relax and knit.

I have no luck, What so ever!!!!

SnB was great last night, we all had a lot of laughs. I get home last night open my mail and this letter of suspension of my license due to lapse of insurance. So now im fuming because I know that I had insurance and there was no lapse, I just switch insurance companies. What ever. So i get to the motor vechicles this morning and I have to pay a fine of 200 dollars, I was like wait a minute, there is no way that I am paying for someone else's mistake. That's bull shit. So I called my insurance company screaming at them because it is such an inconvenience for me, I faxed over the paper that I got in the mail to her and now im just waiting, Mind you all that I have to reregister my car because it is up the end of this month. I hate to wait. You have no idea.

Im so Pissed right now, but I know that all I can do is wait, Ill be alright, I also have bad cramps, need I say more.

So I think im going to knit something to calm me down, And take a pamprin. Ill feel better in a little while.

So it looks like this weekend is going to be a nice one, So on with the party we go, on Monday.

I have to go shopping with Mark for some stuff. Like food and Beer. All the party essentials. Every one is invited. I will do my best to get everyone here. Tomorrow is the flee market I will be going with Joye , Lori and Talin. Then we can come back to my house , or do what ever they want to after. And that's all for today. Ill let you know what happens tomorrow.

Spring Cleaning! "No not yarn spring cleaning"

Mark and I were cleaning the house on Saturday, we are trying to make the house presentable for Mondays party. But I took down all the blind and sprayed them down outside and scrubbed the crap out of them, they were so dusty. YUCK! Maybe that's why my allergies were so bad, But I was sneezing this morning, so I guess not. So while mark was cleaning the inside windows I was outside, It was so beautiful, I didn't want to come in. But I paid for it the next day, My arms were killing me. That just goes to show you how much in shape im in shape. Ha! So what else, On Sunday we woke up early and went to the Tic Toc Cafe in saint James. It was so cute inside, but you have to order your own food and the girls bring it out to you. kind of like Panera. We stayed there for a little while I looked through the paper and I saw that sports authority was having a sneaker sale so I asked mark if he would buy me Sneak's, So we went after breakfast and I got purple and gray Sneak's They are way cool. Then we went to borders. And then we food shopping and then came home. We were supposed to see Star Wars but that didn't happen. But that's ok. Then I got the itch to plant some flowers in the pots that I had from last year,I ran to the nursery bought a flat and planted, Mind you I drank a red bull before I got that urge or else i would have been resting and knitting. So on the knitting front. Im almost done with the socks for Mark that I will post the picture. And the inter Weaves tank top im so stuck I think im doing it wrong but im not sure I have to ask one of my fellow knitters on Thursday. I really want to continue and finish. But I think we accomplished a lot this weekend I can't wait till Monday " memorial Day" Everyone is invited, I will tell everyone on Thursday night. But I know Lori, Talin, and me. And Im not sure who else, are doing the craft fair on Saturday, and then afterwards we can come back to my house for a BBQ, I will ask them on Thursday what they want to do. Well it's 12 Noon And I have to jump in the shower Im not going to let this computer take up all my time in the day.

It's Friday !!! WooooHoooo!!!!!

Alrighty, Today is Friday !!!!! I could not get up for crap this morning. Benny, Lori and I went to the brick house brewery after stich and bitch last night Mark and his friends met us there, they had karokee, all the singers were horrible. wedidn't get home late, I think I was just really tired from yesterday. But I made it through. It was a quick day at work, I got home at 2:00.PM.

So today is Marks pinning ceremony I have to be there at 6:15 tonight, and then my InLaws want to go to dinner afterwards, Not sure where yet. Tomorrow Mark is running the shelter Island run, so we have to catch the ferry at like 1 or 2. Only if it's not raining.I hope it's nice tomorrow. So I have to send out mysecret pal box I keep forgetting to bring it in my car so I can stop off at the post office. I sent the secret pal that has me some stich markers I thought she really needed to have them, and she emailed me back and said she loved them. Your welcome secret Pal.

Not A Nice day for me!!!!!!

Hey !!!! I have been in such a bad mood today, Since I got out of bed this morning. Don't ask me why, I have no idea, All day at work I wanted to kick my boss in the ass. But I got through it. So when I got home I felt a little better. Today was marks last day of his first year in nursing school. Im so happy for him, That's one year down. WoooHoooo!

But I got some progress on the interweave tank top. I have to take a picture of it and post tomorrow, I'm really liking this one it's coming out so nice. I will bring it with me on Thursday night.

So tonight Mark and I watched the new Amityville Horror Movie that came out recently. All Ihave to say is OMG!!!!!!! It was so scary, I had the goose bumps. It has been a while since we watched a movie together, with school an all. But I have the rest of our lives together to watch all the movies to our hearts content. I know this, And Im not complaining. I just wish we had more time together. But it's ok,the summer is almost here.

The Most amazing performer in the world!!!

All I have to say is Oh My God!!!!!!!

Butch Walker Was Amazing. It was like a religious experience. Of coarse I video taped the whole show, and when mark comes home today he is going to transfer it to DVD. I was the only one taping the show I was so surprised, But at the end of the night like 3 people came up to me and said I saw you taping the show can I have a copy of it. I was like oh sure. But any way. All in all if I can follow him every where just to see him play every night I would, He's that good. Let me explain. Butch Walker when he sings, you feel it every word he says, almost like he's singing straight to you alone some where like on the grass in a park. It's so much more than that, But not to sound in love with him, He is great, But I have my own Rock Star!!!!!! And that's Mark......

So today I have to goto lunch with my friends from work, They just called me they need help with some kitting project and im there to help them.

The other day my friend Danielle called me, she needed help with her bag she was making, So she came right over from stonybrook, so when mark came home we were sitting in the back yard with the fire going, and mark just laughed and said that I was the knitting GURU!!!!, So I was like great now he's making fun of me. And the best part of this was the other night I had a dream that Mark didn't want to be with me anymore because im always knitting. I woke up in tears but there more to it, I just can't type the whole dream ill tell you guys when I see you.... Until tomorrow.

What a crazy Day !!!

OMG! Every one has been so supportive., it's so nice to know that you have people that care. it means a lot. Well dad is feeling better and he's still in the hospital, they took various tests and an MRI with IV contrast, and saw a little something on the brain, but the doctor assured him that it' just might be something due to the high blood pressure, So tomorrow they might release him. But for now his pressure is still up and he has all these appointments when he gets out to take care of his pressure and every thing else. But all in all my mom is hanging in there. She is very positive, how I don't know. It's really funny the other day I got a card from her and it said just thinking of you and I hope you have a great day, and there was $20 bucks in it and it said to go buy some yarn. She's the best I love her so much and I just hope that after all of this, things get a little easier for her where she doesn't have to worry as much and ce at ease. Im so tired of the worrying I hope she can live the rest of her life without worrying and just be happy.

But on a fun note , and don't ask me how I can even think of this at a time like this, But this is my only sanity. I amde another bag that's cone and just waiting to be felted. And The girl at the hair salon called me today and wanted me to come in tomorrow to get the purple redone, im so glad you should of seen it it washed out within a week, I can't walk around like this any longer. I should take a picture of it before I get it done so all of you can see how bad it looked. So tomorrow I will be there at 9:30 AM to get fixed, and then off to catch up on some around the house chores. I really hope my dad gets out tomorrow he needs to be home where he's comfortable. Im so tired I have to get to bed soon. But before I go I have to say that im so glad that the secret pal that has me received the stick markers that I sent to her and she sent me a great email thanking me, I love sending things to friends that I know will enjoy every second of them. And also I received stich markers from my secret stich marker pal Jennifer. She's way cool I have to keep in touch with her. And also I have to get my secret pal's package out very soon, I think I have enough to send so far for this month.And I also have to post a picture of the stich markersI revieved from Jennifer.

Crazy Mothers day.

Well I had a very crazy mothers day with mom. I mean crazy, I'll Tell you all about it.

Mark and I got to my mom's about 1:30 or so, she was excited to see us, we ate an early dinner, My friend Jackie came over with the baby, She's so beautiful, and getting so big. So my dad came out of his room and got a bit to eat and then went back into his room to lay down, So I looked at my mom and asked what was wrong with him and is he ok, So she said not sure but he didn't look good when he came home yesterday. And that was it. So about an hour or so later I heard my dad calling for my mom, and when we got up to see, he was holding on to the wall to walk down the hall way and he said he was dizzy and nauseous and told my mom to call the ambulance. Now for those of you that know my dad he hates hospitals and is deathly afraid of throwing up, that's a no no. So we knew there was something definitely wrong with him. So the ambulance came and took his blood pressure and it was 200/1112 no all of you know that that is way off the charts. So they took him away and before they got him to the ambulance he threw up in the street. And by the time they got him to the hospital his pressure went up to 236/113 he could of has a stroke or a heart attack, And mind you hes not that old. (53yrs) So they ran tests on him and the results they came up with was that he has vertigo. Probably due to him high blood pressure. It is the scariest thing to see your dad in the hospital, not a good site for me, Then I started to think about when he really gets old and can walk. I hate to think that way but I know it's gonna happen some day. But my poor mom, in the past 5 years she has been in and out of the hospital with my brother like every other month, and now it's my dad. It's crazy. I have to go and see him on Wednesday. I have to work tomorrow till late and then I will head into the Bronx.

So all and all I couldn't sleep late night. I slept on the couch. And I was supposed to do laundry but that's out and Im exhausted.

This is my mom when I was in her belly I think she was about 8 months. I was brewing, almost ready to say hello to the world, that was almost 29 years ago. Oh My God that seems so long ago. I dont have a better shot of this picture but this will do ....

A tribute to My MOM!!!!!

My Mother, Thee one and thee only. I love her with all my heart. And for some reason every year when im in the card store I cry my eyes out picking a card for her.

But I have to say I don't know what I would be like if I didn't have her as a mom . The caring sense she has and the warm hearted person, she's so emotional. I guess that's where I get it from. I love her to pieces. And 29 years ago I was in her belly just like in the picture above. She is the best mother a daughter can have. She has been to the moon and back, I only wish to have her strength when I have children and deal with all we have put her through, my brother and I, And My dad. But in the end she's the best And I love her.

Ive had it with my hair

I am flipping mad!!!!! My hair.... That's my problem today. I washed it twice this week after I had it done on last Saturday, And now it's faded. It kind of looks yellowie at the ends. Im so pissed. So at lunch today I went to the salon and I showed her and she was going to sit me down and do it for me right then and there, and went in the back and came out and said that they don't have the color and they just ordered it this week and as soon as it comes in she will call me and throw the color in it. So I asked her if this is what it was gonna look like all the timeand she assured me that it wasn't, and that it gets better and better every time you do it.. So I was happy after that. But there was no way I was just gonna let this one go. So Yesterday was a lot of fun at the SnB, My friend Dani wasn't there she was sick. And I got a little knitting done, and Lori brought in her stash and sold it for a little change, and It all went, Dani you missed out. And after SnB I went to marks friend's house (Rob and Allison) We had a little cinco de myo party, I know I did't spell that right. Feel free to correct. So we got home at 12 midnight or so and I pooped out. And this weekend is going to a perfect weekend to knit, it's going to rain all day tomorrow and Sunday I hope not I have to ride into the Bronx and see MOM!!! I can't wait. I have to get a really pretty plant. And that will be my weekend, and if anyone is free on Monday call me im off. Talk to you then...

All I have to say is PURPLE!!!!!

The Hair is purple!!!!! I went to the salon on Saturday morning. It's awesome, But it's only in the back of my hair so it's not shocking when you first look at me. So any way this weekend was great. Some of the stiching girls and myself went to Huntington for the sheep to shawl festival, it was fun but very cold and I was so cold, until the sun came out at about 2:00 to thaw me out, when by then we were ready to leave. But we all bought stuffed sheep and we took a picture it's pretty funny, you have to see it, I have to post it when Im done here. I got my stich marker pal today So I went to the store to get some more beads to make markers, Like I needed to so that, Im absolutely Crazy because I have like 100 of the already made. Im nuts I know. You don't need to tell me, I just really like making them. So back to the work force tomorrow. I have to start saving my pennies. Stop spending I have to keep telling myself that. Speaking of spending, I received my order today from knit picks. hehehehehe! Don't tell mark. But most of it was sock yarn. It was really what I expected, nothing too suprising, what you see on knit picks is what you get. It came in a bag, and I have to start up new sockswith the stuff, but only when im done with the new ones I already started with the yarn that I found in the attic , I have to start on the second one. That will be quick and done in no time. I should bite my tongue because im not gonna have time this week I know the schedule is crazy I got the report from the girl that works there on mondays.But any way , I don't know what else to report. Not much news here.
